that only 46% of Americans are employed. Lowest figure since 1983.
Whoa!
A friend of mine told me that she woke up madder than hell. Here we have 3 wars going on, and thousands of American children are homeless or don't know where their next meal is coming from, and unemployment is awful - and all Congress cares about is defuning Planned Parenthood.
This whole thing is starting to get just plain crazy. It's very disturbing.

1. It's amazing. Each morning I check the news to see what is the next failure. The |

priorities that float to the top in this country are absolutely crazy. Often I feel like I'm living in a Twilight Zone episode the crap gets soooo unbelievable, crazy and stupid as to what congress thinks is important anymore.

Credit where credit is due LLFMO, it's the teabaggers in Congress, not "Congress".
There was even some sanity among (R)s in this last vote to preserve PP - those who don't drink the Faux Kool Aide know it's an important institution for protecting women's, prenatal and natal health. The claim that 90% of their funds go toward killing babies was a huge fail, and actually succeeded in informing more people than it misled. This one is 100% on the Teahadii.
However, from now on, when anyone speaks negatively about PP, I'm going to ask them why they hate women and babies and will be prepared to explain it to them.

it seems some would rather brag about the declining unemployment rate than recognize the ever declining labor force participation rate.....
What they apparently can't seem to understand is that the unemployed/underemployed don't give a fuck about the official numbers - they are concerned about their very survival. And they don't have a whole hell of a lot of loyalty to the politicians who stand in their way or make that effort more difficult.
