Gov in LIBYA calls for ELECTIONS! The "rebels" and the Allies don't seem to want hear any of it
Edited on Fri Apr-15-11 11:43 AM by Distant Observer
The Libyan Government has agreed to the African Union proposal for internationally supervised elections.

The Western information operation is so successful they can actually ignore their own avowed principles and still get away with it.

It is a clear give-away that the "rebellion" is aimed a installing a minority "compliant" regime that neither the rebels or the "coalition" would accept the results supervised election.

Libyan govt ready to hold elections

Libya is ready to hold elections and reform its political system but only its own people can decide whether leader Muammar Gaddafi can stay at the helm.

..

'Who are you to decide what Libyans should do? Why don't they (Western powers) say: we need the Libyan people to decide whether the Libyan leader should stay or go, to decide whether to have a different political system or not.

No one can come to Libya and say: 'you have to lose your leader or your system or your regime. Who are you to stay that?' He added Libya regretted Italy's decision to back the rebels.

Meanwhile, a Libyan government envoy has been on a trip to Europe to discuss an end to fighting.

2. The Rulers who are torturing and killing protesters on Bahrain are our Allies OPPOSED TO ELECTIONS
ANYWHERE.

A lot of folk who believe that they are "supporting" protesters in Libya forget who we are fighting
with and fighting for -- the Oil rulers of the Arabian Gulf who are imposing horrendous repression in
their own region.
