The media, a pile of horseshit, and a rose...
The media, in their desire not to be unbalanced, must present the Ryan plan on equal footing with the Democratic plan. They must not favor one over the other.

The Ryan plan is a pile of horseshit but the horses were down by stream, eating off the rosebushes, so their plan does smell like a rose. The media can get a quote from a couple of Republican leaders that present that very case.

The Democrats say their plan is the real rose. It looks like a rose and smells like a rose. But the media is always skeptical of Democratic plans. That is their role as spokesman for the status quo. They ask the Democratic leaders, "What is the difference? The Republicans say their plan smells like a rose also. They just get there in a different way. Both plans smell like a rose."

Back to you, Brian.
