I'd estimate the tea-party turnout to be in that 400 or so range, judging by the signs folks were carrying and the ability of the crowd there to drown out the speakers. Whatever the tv says, these folks were sadly outnumbered and looked pathetic and scared. We won today.

Unfortunately, I watched the event on Ustream, along with the sidebar comments of an endless string of racist comments and juvenile insults, the pure stupidity of it all was brought home when the token Obama hating black host said to the crowd, "just keep listening to talk radio".

Andrew Breitbrat or whoever he is, lost his cool and just started to shout "Go to hell" at the union crowd. Charming.
