As "D" Party individuals....keeping up the truth on the missing corp stewardship of our nation |
|
It's making headway...really and truly.
Dyed in the wool "R's at work listening to talk radio reminding Americans that tax incentives to large corporations, results in hiring and prosperity for all....they were rolling their eyes and no longer defend the talking points. They are finally mad at being so disillusioned for so long. Two even discussed corporate outsourcing and the lack of paying back to to community via taxes. Really, without constantly hammering home the eye opening rhetoric and QUESTIONING...they would not be asking the same questions either.

1. Gee... Those whiny folks might be confused as liberals.... |
|
Or...they are just reconciling the fact that the tax rate for Golman-Sachs in 2007 was 34% but in 2008 1%..... Or that their were 73 AIG employees that received post bailout bonuses.... Or they are tired of being pissed and being told it is rain.

We need to be reminded that the USA corporations of today are not American. They haven't a modicum of corporate citizenship. They will work to undermine the USA if it is in their interests, just as they have already done.

3. This issue is going on right now in Columbia, SC with Amazon.... |
|
They're opening a new distribution center. Recently the state passed a law - don't ask me - something to do with taxes. Amazon has said if they don't overturn it or make an exception for them they will renege on the deal and leave the state.
This after they did away with blue laws for them (hey, it's not all bad), gave them the property for free, and got a huge tax cut per employee, etc.
Wikileaks, now this. To hell with Amazon.
