WI State Investigation showed that in 2006 Waukesha County had tallied 20,000 more votes than there
were "ballots cast." Kathy Nickolaus, who had taken part in that vote counting, was unable
to explain it either.

My guess: once a crook, always a crook? And what do you suppose the Repubs. have in mind for
our whole country in Nov. 2012?

1. That women should have been in prison not in an important office
But there are plenty of Republican who deserve to be in prison but keep getting elected.

2. You are right. I also think Dems. had better seriously get cracking at vote-fraud
prevention -- beginning right now. And I mean VERY SERIOUSLY.
If they don't -- it could mean self-destruct.

3. One might be not having 80 year old poll watcher who are computer illiterate.
We need experts and people who are on top of their game at every level.

6. I had the same idea when I first read about her some days ago.
Some Dems. are not taking vote fraud seriously enough -- to their Party's detriment, of course.

5. Your title doesn't seem to match the article.
It implies that a state investigation showed something... while the article says that the state is investigating irregularities.

7. The article did mention that in 2006 there were 20,000 more

votes tallied than ballots had been cast, that Kathy Nickolaus had taken
part in the counting, and that she couldn't give an explanation for the
difference. Furthermore, in 2004, 97.63% of eligible voters in Waushega
County had taken part in the election -- which we all know is an impossibly
high percentage.

The examples given above are known facts, but the investigation is still going
on, and until the investigation has been officially reported, the conditional
tense is used by some journalists.

Are you as careful at that journalist?

8. No... the article says
That in 2006 a particular website said that there were 20k more votes reported as tallied than listed as cast.

That's not the same thing as an actual discrepancy between the number of votes cast and the number counted. Either number could be in error or just misreported.

That's a long way from a state investigation that has actualy been completed and "shown" something.

It really isn't all that difficult. The article comes with a title... why not use it?
