Would you prefer a 1st or a 3rd Round Knock Out?
The Republicans have passed their silly budget in the House, and in arguing it they have shown themselves to be either fools or tools. Now of course the bill will die, it was bound for nowhere the moment the final vote began, the Senate will not take it up. But why shouldn't they. There is more milage to get out of this Republican nonsense. Harry should let the House version come to the Senate floor for debate. There is no reason the Senate Democrats shouldn't get some milage out of it too. Besides, it would be fun to watch the Senate Republicans try to defend what their more adolescent colleagues on the House side have come up with. They could even let the Republicans pass it if they wanted to, then the President could get the last bit of milage out of it as he denounced not only the document but also its bought and paid for authors as he , the President, hit it with the Veto stamp.

3. Debate as long in the Senate as possible. That keeps it in the news.
Do not pass it. If President Obama wants to get on board he can help the Senate.
