Can't have a protistan rhodopsin that is so similar to mammalian rhodopsin that is inserts into their bipolar cells.
That would be robust evidence for a common ancestor.
and viral insertion? Horizontal gene transfer was not mentioned in Genesis

that they would jump at the chance to see again. Just like they allow for artificial insemination and fertility treatments, even though it is apparent that god does not want them to bear children. And they will have a pig heart valve put into their bodies to keep them from dying, but god is calling them now.
Funny how religious people will find a justification to use science when it is convenient for them, but will skewer science if it gets in the way of their beliefs. Go figure.

.............everyone with any SENSE knows that that blind mouse can see again because it PRAYED. All that science mumbo-jumbo didn't have nuthin' to do with it. More proof that the invisible man in the sky doesn't want you to read no books but his.
