Is Trump Scamming The RepubliCON Party?
A nutty theory considering how he's embraced birtherism...he's like a loon talking through a frond of pink hair. Bit he's a lifelong dem who is fracturing the Con party. He's called out Rove, Mittens and Pawlenty and made them all look incompetent, diminished. Anyone who, might have a chance in the general is being stomped on by him. It just makes me wonder.

2. lifelong democrat????
For 2004 and 2008, Trump speculated about running for President in the Republican party and for 2006 considered running for governor of New York as a representative of the party<64> In October 2007, Trump appeared on Larry King Live and delivered a strong criticism of then-United States President George W. Bush, particularly concerning the Iraq War. He speculated that Rudy Giuliani and Hillary Clinton could win the Republican and Democratic Presidential nominations, respectively, and voiced some support for either of them being elected President. He expressed doubt, on CNN's The Situation Room at the time, over whether a candidate for President could win the election by supporting a continued escalation of the war in Iraq.<65>

On September 17, 2008, Trump officially endorsed John McCain for the U.S. Presidency on Larry King Live.<66>

Trump again registered as a Republican in 2009 after having registered a Democratic Party in 2001.<67> Trump said in an interview in 2007, "I'm very much independent in that way. I go for the person, not necessarily the party. I mean, I vote for Republicans and I vote for Democrats."<68>

Since the 1990 U.S. elections, Donald Trump has made contributions to campaigns of both Republican Party candidates (including John McCain, Rudolph Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, and George W. Bush<69>) as well as Democratic Party candidates (including Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Tom Daschle, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Rahm Emanuel, Hillary Clinton, Anthony Weiner, Charles Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Charles Rangel.<69><70><71>)

3. Yup, he is.
They probably already know it, but they can't stop him at this point. He won't run, of this I am certain, but right now he's making them look stupid and I can't say they don't deserve to look that way. He likes stomping people. Do you remember when he went after Star Jones (of all people! LOL!)? Those on-the-record comments will come back to haunt him IF he runs. He won't play if he has to share the toys. Flash in the pan.

He's a glutton for publicity and...he's making like the big man at the expense of others. It just makes me wonder.

He also spanked Cantor according to Cenk. In fact he's sucking all the air out of the Con balloon.

13. That's The Donald we know.
Besides, who in the Secret Service would volunteer to be his body double if they have to wear that hair? He's not a contender, but his ego big enough to let him stay in only as long as he is leading. Even that won't be enough to tempt him when it comes to releasing the financials. He has too many ex-wives to put those figures out in public.

4. It is impossible to discern a scam refug candidate from a real one.

Trump could be doing a parody of a tealoon, but as far as I am concerned so are Bachmann and Palin and Ginrich, and Mittens is a parody of himself. Seriously, what is the difference?

5. It sure would be a great spoof - outing the Republicans as a bunch of imbeciles...
...and getting tons of attention for his own ratings.

8. Yep
Cause I, for one, don't think hr'd running. Cenk is likening it to Tromp vs. the party of Cons.

12. Wacky Pittsburgh local RW columnist Ruth Ann Dailey agrees with you
But that doesn't explain the $50,000 he gave Chicago mayoral candidate (now mayor-elect) Rahm Emanuel -- Mr. Obama's former chief of staff, a legendary partisan and (like his most recent boss) also a far-sighted pragmatist.

In fact, dear conspiracy theorists, Mr. Trump's gassy display is just the sort of gleeful tactic Mr. Emanuel would approve of -- or invent. It diverts attention from more substantive issues, most of which poll badly for the president, and it makes people of good will hesitate to get lumped in with a too-easily ridiculed opposition.

14. With all the free money to be made, why wouldn't he run
I think post 2012 election there are going to be some massive campaign financing scandals as so many candidates find ways to bank their donations.
