I wish for the poor to get fed and employed, the homeless to get shelter and food (rights guaranteed to them by the UN 1948 Declaration of Human Rights), all of the employed to get raises, to be able to strike, to be able to negotiate, to be able to start a business if they wanted to and potential retirees to be able to retire if they so choose.

I wish for America’s turkey shoots to finally end (ALL of them), stop being the world’s cop, severely de-fund our already bloated Pentagon and use the military for good in this nation, not to do rich people’s bidding in others.

Homes should be built smaller, cars should be made far more efficiently (and HERE, preferably) and less dependent on oil, high-speed rail and MagLev should flourish, the U.S. should look towards Eastern Europe for more scientific and efficient ways of controlling and damming their waterways, and more should be done in the areas of solar, wind and water power.

NO child in this nation or any other should be deprived of food, clothing, shelter and a great education.

Affordable health care is a human right. Bankrupting any human being for getting sick should be viewed and treated as a crime.

Our diets need to get better, our grocery stores need to get smarter, and our food supply needs to be more colorful, natural, nutritious and less processed.

“You can’t strengthen the weak by weakening the strong”. That’s almost as dumb as “Peace through Strength”. Strengthening the already strong has never worked and does not work now.

And Americans? Plain and simple, you need to start THINKING. Stop watching cable news channels like they’re some drug you can’t live without. Start making smarter voting choices. Stop listening to your priests, your old Republican relatives, your bosses and your “betters”. You have no “betters”; just people who got luckier breaks in life.

And to you wealthy people?

Well, what’s left to say to you except you ought to get down on your knees and thank God this isn’t 18th Century France you’re living in.

Yet.

You’re severely over-fed, over-privileged, over-catered-to, over-feared and under-taxed. That’s ALL got to stop and stop NOW.

In the end, you’re going to be just as dead as “Rich Guy B”.

In the end, there ain’t no Brinks Truck or toy trailers following your hearse.

In the end, even the Rockefellers and Carnegies of their day left philanthropic legacies that benefited society. What are you leaving behind besides widespread ruin, neo-fascism, an eternally divided country and scattered property no one can purchase?

As much as you want to make it so, you cannot do business . . . without business. And firing people, starving people, underpaying people, taking away people’s benefits, wasting their tax dollars, all so you don’t have to pay even one percent more in taxes doesn’t seem like a very smart way of drumming up business, DOES IT?
