Why Doesn't MSNBC...
...hire someone like Phil Donahue, Bill Press or Thom Hartmann to host a show. To me, any one of these people would be a great addition and be a real feather in the cap of MSNBC. I'm baffled by this.

6. Really?
Okay so Keith is gone...but Rachel is still there...Cenk and The Last Word. All of these seem to be left of center.

2. They already fired Phil Donahue once
He would probably tell them to GFY if they offered him a job now.

9. Corporate bosses do not like liberals who "rock the boat".

Press has had his own show (CNN, I think) and then again with co-host Tucker Carlson :puke:..

Donahue was on MSNBC and was axed because he was anti-war..(GE did not like that much)

Corporate media will throw us a bone now and then, but other than Rachel and Keith when we had him. it;s hard to find ANY MSNBC host that doesn't "have" to include righties to counter whatever the intelligent guests say..

Of course they have Pat Buchanan (Xenophobe/Racist Emeritis) stashed away at HQ, ready to be trotted out at a moment's notice..

The recipe is pretty standard:

Crunchy, crumbled news, coated with a thin sweet layer, and the chewy nougaty center of commercials...(news part is artificially flavored and may or may not include nuts) consume at your own risk

11. Phil Donahue had the highest rated show on MSNBC and was fired because he wouldn't cheer on the
Idiot-In-Chief's illegal wars.

12. Donahue was MSNBC's most
popular TV personality when they fired him for his opposition to the Iraq War. The truth is MSNBC only tolerates today's liberal content. I seriously doubt they would consider giving those guys a voice.
