Just saw my first Teabagger Rally around here
Edited on Tue Apr-19-11 08:27 PM by Armstead
I live in a very blue area where we have not had much teabagger activity....Some but very low key and very outnumbered.

Today, whilst driving downtown I saw a small group of them standing on the town square holding signs like "I want my country back."

I was tempted to give them the finger or something equally mature as I drove past them, but my better sense prevailed.

Well I have to admit I admired their commitment as it was pouring down rain and they were still standing there....I could have offered them an umbrella, but I figured "Fukem."

1. I wonder what they will do when the catch pnuemonia and have to go to the hospital?
I hope they stay to their austerity and pay for all of it out of pocket.

3. They used to try and do rallies in the our town square
but people like me discouraged them. When ever I walked by I would stand next to them and yell things like GRRR I'M MAD ABOUT NOTHING and RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!! They didn't like me to much.

4. "GRRR I'M MAD ABOUT NOTHING"

I remember one such (counter-)protester whose sign read "I forgot what I was mad about!"

If given the opportunity, I want to counter-protest a Tea Bagger rally with with a sign that reads "Next time we'll come armed with explosive diarrhea!"

Counter-protesting is an art and can be quite fun!

6. Nah, just their street clothes...Kinda boring visually
No three-cornered hats or Obama masks or anything like that....I didn't realize it was a teabagger rally til I read their signs.
