3. The presidential debates were horrible ...
the leaque of women's voters no longer wanted to take part years ago.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_presidential_election_debates

"...Control of the presidential debates has been a ground of struggle for more than two decades. The role was filled by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters (LWV) civic organization in 1976, 1980 and 1984. In 1987, the LWV withdrew from debate sponsorship, in protest of the major party candidates attempting to dictate nearly every aspect of how the debates were conducted. On October 2, 1988, the LWV's 14 trustees voted unanimously to pull out of the debates, and on October 3 they issued a dramatic press release:

The League of Women Voters is withdrawing sponsorship of the presidential debates...because the demands of the two campaign organizations would perpetrate a fraud on the American voter. It has become clear to us that the candidates' organizations aim to add debates to their list of campaign-trail charades devoid of substance, spontaneity and answers to tough questions. The League has no intention of becoming an accessory to the hoodwinking of the American public.

The same year the two major political parties assumed control of organizing presidential debates through the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). The commission has been headed since its inception by former chairs of the Democratic National Committee and Republican National Committee..."

11. I'll confess to not knowing at the time ...
blame it on the corporate media, having a toddler ... whatever I only learned later.

But we can still learn.

:hi:

12. It is interesting about Edwards, he dropped out of the race a week or two after Kucinich...
kind of stole some thunder from what what Kucinich wanted to instill during the presidential debates... and who controls the debates, the DNC and RNC.

Edwards was the first to sign onto to the Jacob Hacker HC plan, Obama was smart in that he did not endorse the entire Hacker plan from the start.

All of the top three contenders excluded anyone who talked about a national HC, the die was cast for going after "entitlements" during the HC debates ... IMHO.

9. My only problem was when he gave those

answers that John Oliver described as being quoted from a musical and talking about the age of Aquarius. I think he could have given stronger answers based on the issues he stands up for, with that said, Kucinich is by far one of the best people in D.C. and I'll gladly support his next presidential run in 2016. Oh, and the Republicans dare remove his district I'll be beyond pissed.
