Need help with posting a screen shot

I've got it on my desktop but have no idea as to how to paste it in a message. I'm using firefox 4 in ubuntu 10.10

1. You have to host it on the internet somewhere

and then a simple URL will pull it in.

2. An image needs to be on a web host in order to be posted on DU

Many people open free image hosting accounts with providers like Flickr, Imageshack and numerous others.

5. Do you have a facebook account?

You could upload your image to that and then link to it here from there.

6. Sure don't as I'm not sure that face book would make it this far back in the woods

First thing I'd be trying to do with it is use the pages to start a fire in my shop stove with and be totally blown away when I realized there aren't any paper at all. ;-)

7. With Imageshack, you don't have to register for an account

I think the down side is that the image won't stay on the web for super long. That, and you're unable to "go into" your account to see what images you've got stored.

Just the same, you can totally upload an image to Imageshack - straight from your hard drive. Then all you have to do is copy the image address/URL and paste it into a DU post.
