It's taken them almost a month to raise $27,000, I believe. At that rate, it will take them the entire quarter to raise the $90,000 they want.

Which means there's non-stop fundraising. Which doesn't seem to be the case on DU.

1. Well, come on, be fair.
It takes a lot of money to maintain that state-of-the-art website.

4. Yeah, their website really does blow.
I feel like I've been transported back to 1995 whenever I look at it.

9. Hey! 1990s BBS Software doesn't grow on trees!
You have to do a Lot of dumpster diving for updates.

Don't get me started on finding a working 5.25 inch floppy drive.

3. Would YOU donate to a place that uses such a horrible...everything?
The flow sucks, the integration sucks, the programming...well, what programming? Donating to site that still looks like it was built in 1995 seems like poor value for money.

12. One guy who I'm sure will never be heard from again stated that he
enjoyed being a "freeloader and thanks to getting rid of the great posters and their money, FR should die out." FR tombstoned a lot of people who were against Sara and birthers...LOL.
