2. That's what happens when you flood the financial system with free/cheap cash
imagine if they had tried to bail out Main St. rather than Wall St. We might actually have had a recovery.

6. Precisely, and so many people are getting this one wrong.
No, we are not going to get hyperinflation. The real economy is in dreadful shape.

Instead, we are getting more speculative bubbles - in oil, commodities and equities - just as predicted.

This is what happens when you design monetary and fiscal policy solely to rescue banks and the parasite class.

Anyone who argued that the bailouts would keep housing from collapsing, turn our employment picture around and rescue Main Street was either complicit or badly duped.

7. And everyone that doesn't is still fucked!
Including all those people that lost their jobs, many of whom still can't find new ones.

But to hell with them. The poor and unemployed don't matter anyway, as long as your 401K is doing well. They're just being selfish.

5. True, but let's keep in mind...
...that the two prior years were awful by anyone's standards.

It's a little like saying that Michelle Bachmann is the most attractive woman...out of the combination of her, Jean Schmidt, and Ann Coulter.
