Gov Sandoval will appoint Cong. Dean Heller, who's conveniently a candidate for the seat in 2012.

10. So they'll have an incumbent running in 2012 |
and Ensign will be a distant memory.... Plus Heller will be replaced in the House, hurting Sharron Angle's chances to be nominated. Bad news all around here for us.

11. You don't appoint a House replacement... |
You hold a special election...which Sharon can run in.

12. I should've said the Repugs could name their own candidate |
That would hurt Angle's chances at winning the special election.

16. Discussion on Rachel Maddow tonight suggests... |
that State Law is unclear if the Republican Party gets to designate a candidate or if its a free-for-all
