I hope both get enough seats to make it happen and kick Harper out.

3. A majority for Harper was never in the cards |
|
But the NDP in Quebec IS a surprise. And they have enough votes to make Jack Layton a real threat in this election.
I heard the national NDP approval has gone up 9% in the last week.
Here's hoping.....

I couldn't be happier.
And the NDP is also making inroads to the younger voters.

As long as Harper does not have a majority to go all Mike Harris/Ayn Rand on us I'll be pleased.

12. The NDP might also challenge a few Bloc and Lib candidates in Qc. |
|
In Montreal's gay village (a mix of separatist and progressive ideologies), the NDP presence is much more palpable than in past elections. This particular riding will probably be a lost cause, but the NDP is really stepping it up. They gained 6-8 points in recent polls.

13. If the Bloc left, then the NDP will have more votes federally, the Bloc |
|
is like Nader!
Gawd, I hope Harper does not win with a majority, then we are fucked!
The conservatives have already eliminated Ignatieff with their ads, I don't like Ignatieef either!

14. It's possible that Bloc supporters are finally realizing |
|
that the Bloc can never win control of the House, nor any power within the confederation without coalescing with other Parties, and with the (still) recent events in Qc for the Libs, the NDP may be primed to inherit the malcontent Bloqists.

15. No, the Bloc control the votes in Quebec but the NDP is more in |
|
tune with the Quebec people, and the Bloc only represent Quebec provincially so if the Bloc went away, the NDP will get all those votes as the Quebecers are very much in tune with the NDP! Too many parties here splitting the votes but I cannot stand Harper!

getting a majority. We have ten days to turn it around.
