So the US has confirmed that it will use armed drones
over Libya.

<snip>
Armed US Predator drones are to carry out missions over Libya, Defence Secretary Robert Gates has said.

Mr Gates said their use had been authorised by President Barack Obama and would give "precision capability" to the military operation.

Unmanned US drones are already used to target militants along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.

Meanwhile in Bahrain

Human rights groups are expressing growing concern about a security crackdown in Bahrain.

A report by the campaign group Physicians for Human Rights has called for an international investigation into the use of "excessive force".

It says at least 32 medics are among those arrested since protests began.

Oh the humanity!!!

4. The War could have some vitue if there wasn't so much LYING to cover real intentions
Edited on Fri Apr-22-11 07:07 AM by Distant Observer
We are protecting defenceless "protesters" who, it turns out, are armed to the teeth -- and actually part of an ongoing Western-backed insurgency.

We are "defending" rebels who are actually the ones attacking whenever they can.

We are worried about civilian lives but we are sponsoring urban warfare which by definition put civilians in harms way on both sides.

We want a ceasefire, but dismiss all efforts at negotiated peace that does not include surrender of our "enemy".

11. "Precision capability" drone killed 5 women and 3 children yesterday in Pakistan.
I guess "protecting" civilians depends on which civilians were "protecting".
