Presidential tax returns: Obama vs. Bush vs. Clinton
I'm copying only the major comparisons in the article. Overall an interesting read. The write has a lot of commentary in the link. ENJOY!

Presidential First Year Incomes: How do President Obama, Bush and Clinton compare in their first year in office? Obama certainly out-earned Bush and Clinton. Obama and Bush enjoyed $400,000 a year salaries while Clinton was paid a mere $200,000 a year in his terms.

•Obama (2009): $5.5 million
•Bush (2001): $811,100
•Clinton (1993): $293,757

Charitable Contributions: Obama and Clinton both gave less, as a percentage of adjusted gross income, than Bush.

• Obama (2009): $329,100 (5.98%)
• Bush (2001): $82,700 (10.2%)
•Clinton (1993): $17,000 (5.8%)

Effective Tax Rates: Here were each President’s effective tax rate (despite all being in the top tax bracket) for that first in year in office:

Obama (2009): 32.56%

Bush (2001): 30.85%

Clinton (1993): 21.33%

2. If I remember right the big dog
hadn't made as much in any single year as he did as his pay as President. This was leading up to the run for the Presidency not afterwards.
He's probably making millions a year now in speaking fees alone. I liked Bill, and still do, in all his shortcoming, as the best 8 years out of my 63 were when he was in the oval office. This knowing full well several of his policies then is largely responsible for us being in this shithole where we are today.

When you're dealing with thugs you can't allow giving an inch as they are never satisfied and all you've done is moved yourself backwards an inch and the thugs advance continue their push for all of it, whatever it is. It would do for our President Obama to realize that before its too late. Its never too late if you're standing even if you're down to nakedness. The fight much continue for our kids and grandkids otherwise we've been bad for America for letting things get in this mess we're in now, yes it was us who has for what ever reason have allowed this to happen. In order to have a prosperous Democracy for everyone you have to be willing to all get out in the streets. We don't all have to go to Washington DC either we all have villages, tones and cities that we frequent and can make the trip too and that will work just as well as all trapsing off to DC would do.

He told us early on we'd get the democracy that we wanted and that it wasn't going to be easy but he was ready to lead the way and at the time we were liking what he was saying and doing but once in the white house people just went on their merry ol way, not all mind you, if fact millions and I thank them but to get back to what I was saying. Our President is not our problem our problem is not getting his back and just going to a march is not getting his back either. again, Mind you I know many worked their asses off so I don't mean them here. Instead of going to the town halls and shouting the teabaggers, (mostly old and really not a fighter just a pawn,) out of the rooms so we could have civil discussion what did we pretty much do, sat our our asses and bitched about the outcome. We failed the President right there and I don't think he has gotten over it. There is no way for one man to fight the battle that we need fought. We let the pukes control the narrative so we didn't have a chance. wussie comes to mind. Yea all of us who didn't, for whatever the reason, stand with him early on he has no choice but to get all he can by bending over backwards. We should never have let the last election happen as it did and according to what I've read the reason was largely because we sat on our asses and didn't vote. I voted, the President and the bluedog, against the inhofe guy and against my prissie ass governor, governor Fallin. A real work but thats a whole nother story.
Anyways
I hope I didn't offend anyone and if I did my sincerest apologies.
I now go unload the pickup load of mushroom compost into my raised bed garden. pictures of garden will come later.

3. It says much about the tax code.

Obama's income was some seven times that of bush, and his tax rate a mere 1.71% higher.
