Anchorage police officer charged with being Mexican citizen working illegally
Source: Anchorage Daily News

An Anchorage police officer who took on a false identity that masked his Mexican citizenship has been arrested and charged with passport fraud, federal officials said today.

At a news conference Friday, U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler said that patrolman Rafael Espinoza, on the Anchorage police force for about six years, was really Rafael Mora-Lopez, a Mexican national working in the United States illegally.

The identity swap was discovered when the police officer applied for a U.S. passport and officials from the State Department found that the Rafael Espinoza identity he was using was actually someone else in the Lower 48, Loeffler said.

An Anchorage "construction worker" who took on a false identity that masked his Mexican citizenship has been arrested and charged with passport fraud, federal officials said today.

At a news conference Friday, U.S. Attorney Karen Loeffler said that the "construction worker", Rafael Espinoza, employed by a "local construction company" for about six years, was really Rafael Mora-Lopez, a Mexican national working in the United States illegally.

The identity swap was discovered when the "construction worker" applied for a U.S. passport and officials from the State Department found that the Rafael Espinoza identity he was using was actually someone else in the Lower 48, Loeffler said.

As I see it, except for the designation of said individual, and given the overall perception of most liberals, it is wrong for an "illegal" immigrant to accept a government job, or one of prestige, but "racist" if you protest an illegal immigrant who accepts a job mowing the lawn you've been mowing for ten years, because it's saving them a dollar, and a sacrifice in quality. Before you start, let me say that I have personally had to go over work that is not up to standards, and corrected them, which wouldn't have been an issue if the tasks were not done correctly in the first place. Don't believe for one minute that you are classified by political party, denomination, or earnings. You are classified by those who have, and the have-nots. The "haves" are rejoicing. The "have-nots", well, fuck'm, and those who think they have the moral high-ground? I wish you luck, but my grandchildren will not live to see it come to pass. Thanks. Of course I'm venting, but thanks anyway.
