Worst Police Misconduct Videos of 2010 – Reader’s Poll
http://www.injusticeeverywhere.com/?page_id=3496

Once again it’s time for our annual “Worst Police Misconduct Videos of the Year” reader’s poll. Here we post some of the more egregious, but not all, of the videos that were released in 2010 in association with claims of police misconduct. Of course, some of the incidents tied to these videos did not occur in 2010, but the videos for those reports weren’t released to the public until this year so they are included.

Each video is associated with a number and are listed in no specific order. At the end of the post is a poll where each visitor may select up to three of the videos that they consider the worst examples of police misconduct caught on video for the year. At the end of the voting period, midnight on New Years Eve of 2010, we will begin tallying the votes and present the five worst videos of the year on New Years Day.

1. I see the Seattle PD is well represented..
which is hardly surprising..they're completely out of control. IMO, the incident in video #25 (the killing of the woodcarver) is basically murder.

Now I don't have to check and hear it again. The video is so much worse than I'd thought from reading the reports and I am a pretty cynical person. There was no reason to shoot him, none. I'd call it murder.

"he had a stern look on his face when he turned" to see what I was yelling so I shot him, 4 times, before he could fully face me. Fucking asshole cop.

And yes, he was as repulsive as you'd expect.

3. I formally invite the DUer known for defending all police
misconduct to explain video by video why none of it is actually misconduct. All in good fun, of course.

4. Seattle P.D.
Vote for any and all... A fish rots from the head out and we really have a ripe Chief here. The chief of police has made sure no one will call the police. The whole department has become unaccountable felons under his watch. If you think you have any civil rights here, guess again. They do anything they want to do and if you don't like it you can just sue them. After they harass you for 5 or 10 years and you win in court they will apologize. It's just unbelievable and it has gotten much worse since the W.T.O. debacle.
Now lets watch the badge bunnies pile on here.

7. All of them were really sick
but as an animal lover, hearing a dog crying out after getting shot by the "brave" pig really turned my stomach. May karma bite that pig in the ass.

9. #7 - the one from South Carolina.
That's my pick so far.

It's clearly endemic behavior.

11. i'll try to watch them before the day is over.
it's too early, my son's going back home today, and i just don't have the stomach for it right now. i read some of the descriptions though. one policeman who beat up a woman for complaining about the investigation into her neighbor's death blamed stress over possible lay offs. is he supposed to go free for brutality because he's worried about his job? i was also struck by how many of these terrible police persons are still on the job.
