IMO, FOX is "dumping " Beck and now, Palin, for one simple reason:
They are distancing their mouthpieces in a preemptive move to keep the stink off Beck & Palin when Fox/Murdoch goes down for spying. Betcherass they did it here as well as in Britain. This is treasony shit and the overlords need to keep their main minions/messengers clean.

lol beck & palin - clean.

4. I was thinking that it was just the opposite. He is trying to clean Fox
up so he does not get investigated here. Either way I hope he and his media empire get what they have coming.

7. Fox execs are opportunists.. They like what & whom their uneducated minions like
When popularity drops for someone like Palin & Beck, they are no longer that appealing to the Murdhochians.

Palin is no longer the media darling she once was..familiarity breeds contempt.

All but the few die-hard fans have seen her for what she is.. a money-hungry grifter, with not a lot to say.

Beck went so far afield, that he started to scare people a bit too much.

Fox is all about making money and pushing the right wing point of view, and when on-air people start making it about them. making money, and only that, Fox cuts them loose.

There is no shortage of right wing mouthpieces, and they will always have plenty to choose from when it comes time to fill airspace.

Fox always has the edge, since no one else does what they do.. They fill down-time between elections to build up prospective candidates (Kasich, Huckleberry, et al ) , as well as demonizing the left.

When their protégés step up and get elected, it's a feather in their cap, but when they stumble (Palin-Beck), they jettison them.

10. Although I agree that "dumped"

is too strong a word, FOX (and right wing media) HAVE greatly diminished her exposure. See Nate Silver's analysis:

"According to Silver, Palin’s share of the media coverage went from 51% in November 2010 to 11% by April 2011. Sarah Palin’s coverage has moved to one birther loving, candidacy flirting reality TV star in particular. Donald Trump’s percentage of the media coverage has gone from 1% in November 2010 to 40% by April 2011. In this case, the data confirms the perception that Donald Trump has replaced Sarah Palin as the media’s right wing darling."

12. I'm having a hard time believing even Fox is *this* stupid,
Backing Trump?

Something smells.

I'm thinking there is no other "R" candidate that wants to align themselves with Fox...all they have is Trump....still I can't see that they are willing to risk this post Beck reputation on Trump.
