345 tornadoes so far in April doubling the record
That was an F4 in Western St Louis

Please note that it was a miracle/divine intervention that people actually heeded the warnings.

Remember there is no climate change. :sarcasm:

2. Denialists will continue to spout their condescending pronouncements
such as,'it's just weather; it's normal for this time of year.' If they're convinced that global climate change is hokum, they certainly spend a great deal of time & energy pounding out their message.

4. republicans don't think we need weather warnings
Republicans try to defund NOAA’s satellite program -- just as climate change is making the weather much more extreme.
Maybe they think storms will only hit liberals and "the little people", so it doesn't concern them.

6. i don't think it took a miracle to get them to heed the warnings.
it took the swath of death from last weekend. four people were killed just a few miles from where i live. if it happens again, well i don't what i'll do but i do know i'll be paying attention.

9. I hate when human beings do what is rational
and we're then told about miracles. You are so right - after last weekend people were paying attention and good for them.

16. There's a reason...
Norman, OK (the pale bluish dot in OK) rarely gets hit by tornadoes. All the smart, thinking people in the state live here. ;-)
