Ever heard Steven Seagal's awesome speech at the end of the 1994 film
On Deadly Ground?

I danced around and hooted and cheered the first time I saw/heard this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yr-F8z74KM

"Big business is primarily responsible for destroying the water we drink, the air we breath, and the food we eat. They have no cure for the world they've destroyed. only for the money they make in the process.

How many oil spills can we endure? Millions and millions of gallons of oil are now destroying the ocean and the many forms of life they support. Among these is Plankton, which supplies 60-90% of the Earth's oxygen, and supports the entire marine ecosystem which forms the basis of our planet's food supply. But the plankton is dying.

I thought, 'Well, let's go to some remote state or country -- anywhere on earth' -- but in doing a little research, I realized that these people broker toxic waste all over the world. They basically control the legislation; and in fact, they control the law. The law says no company can be fined over $25,000 a day. For companies making 10 million dollars a day by dumping lethal toxic waste into the ocean, it's only 'good business' to continue doing this.

They influence the media so that they can control our minds. They have made it a crime to speak out for ourselves; and if we do so we are called 'conspiracy nuts' or laughed at...."

4. It is a very common thing for GOPers these days
They reneg their own believes and would pretend they never wrote or said what they wrote or said.

Trump for instance defended universal healthcare in one of his books.

5. You cannot use "Steven Segal" and "awesome speech" in the same sentence.

6. Thanks for the wake up call for those still imagining this way to be 'for our own good.'
Or the only way to survive. There is no survival for us in this game being played, either. It's not the problem of marine life, poor people being deprived of their means of making a living, or whatever box of thinking adopted to say 'just forget about it.' Accept all life as sacred and of equal value or perish.

he dropped the the evil oil CEO played by Michael Caine into a fiery oil pit at the end. In the real world, all you get is flowery speeches and no action.

10. That movie was painful to watch for me.
By the time we got to the end I was not amenable to listening to him.
