Can we get a compiled list of Republican Town Halls Please? |
|
Edited on Sun Apr-24-11 12:39 PM by proud patriot
This week is spring Break for me. All the local Reps are Democrats around here. So I don't know where to begin to look. Then I had the bright Idea that each DUer who is represented by a Republican Congressional member could help me by letting me know if your rep is holding a town hall this week. I think we need to show up and ask some questions of these Representatives.
I'm new to this organizing thing but really feel this week is an important opportunity to speak out at Town Halls.

1. After the 2009 fracas... |
|
...over PPACA, and especially after the Gifford shooting, there are fewer town halls altogether, and the ones still held are often not announced more than a day or two in advance, only by e-mail to already-interested people, only on really local media, etc.
It's not as easy a job as it was a few years ago.

Understandable though with nutzos out there. I'd been all over the websites searching for townhall announcements and was feeling very frustrated. Now I know Why.

3. My rep (PA CD5) is too chicken to hold a townhall |
|
so he does his over the phone via conference call. He's such a coward (he's GOP).
