1. The Republicans used that line to sew discord and make one

group jealous or envious of another. Standard operating
proceedure.

Thank you finding the information which refutes another
"big lie". "Big Lie" being a lie repeated over and over
and over until the public believs it.

2. I'm just glad that they were called on that lie in the media. Granted it's just one small newspaper

but if _every_ state had one or two newspapers that would cover it, it would make a huge difference!

Of course, facts don't really matter to the Ayn Rand tea bagger types.
