Donald Trump To Robert DeNiro: You talkin' to me, Einstein?

The oh-so-2012-buzzed-about Trump phoned in to "Fox & Friends" this morning, defending his New York voting record and hitting back at comments made by fellow tough guy DeNiro, about how "birthers" need to can it.

"Well, he's not the brightest bulb in the planet," Trump dumped on DeNiro, who said it's "crazy" that people continue to insist that President Obama might not have been born in the U.S.

"I have been watching over the years and I like his acting, but in terms of when I watch him doing interviews and various other things, we are not dealing with Albert Einstein," Trump added. "He can say what he wants, but the fact is this guy has not revealed his birth certificate."

Trump also uses his talk of a Presidential run to boost sales for his book, and other deals. I've never watched his show, but I understand a lot of it has to do with self-promotion.

article by Howie Kurtz, of all people. The article describes how Trump and business partners ripped off everyday americans that had just enough to buy into Trump's over-priced condos. The Tribeca Film Festival nets the city of New York over half a billion dollars annually. He is co-owner of a chain of successful restaurants, plus a couple three other eateries and he's an owner of the Greenwich Hotel. He's run the same production company, begun (like the film festival) with the intention of reviving NYC's reputation as the "first coast" of television and movies and he's been pretty darned fruitful in his efforts.

My guess is that if Mr. De Niro responds to Trump's desperate cry for attention comments, it will consist of no more than one sentence and the words "fuck', "that" and "guy" might be involved.
