On Kim Iverson: Going through divorce when husband diagnosed with cancer....
They put the divorce on hold because the woman has great insurance. They were having an amicable divorce, and the woman wants to make sure the guy can get treatment. he owns his own business. So this lady comes on and says she should divorce him and let him go get his own insurance and be on his own. WTF!! so the caller after her said that this guy isn't going to be able to get insurance while he has cancer or even if he goes into remission. Which is what I was thinking.

This is the state of our system today. The fact that this guy is not going to be able to get insurance to get treated for his cancer. Sure there are places out there where this guy might be able to get treatment for free even... If he can get there. How far away would such a place be!!

But that lady who thought gee, he could just go out and get his own insurance and that way he can be on his own. WTF!! I am sure the guy can take care of himself. It's not like sending your kid out to fend for themselves. He has cancer. If he has no insurance he will most likely end up broke.
