There's a lot of crazy people in the world.
And as the population grows, there will be more and more crazy people. The percentage of the population that is crazy doesn't have to increase for the number of crazies to increase. Combine that with a more interconnected world and that's a lot of crazy.

2. Oh, I think that the percentage of crazy people is going up as well
Due to the behavioral sink phenomenon. Put more and more people into the same living space, with fewer and fewer resources, less and less space, stand back and watch the crazy emerge.

5. There seems to be some sort of mass-psychosis occuring.
These events used to be caused by ergot in the rye, but this is different. Far too widespread. Very curious.

Why wouldn't the percentage increase with the numbers though?

6. I'm not saying it won't.
It just doesn't need to.

8. The punchline to this is "Because she was fucking Goofy", right?
Seriously, though, I do agree. Some forms of crazy really benefit from the internet.

9. Desperate people to "crazy" things ... like going postal.
Which may be why Corporatist Rethuglican's keep on keeping on with multiplying our sense of desperation,
so we all go crazy in the end, and are subjected to being objectified by the Corporate State and it's nefarious
henchmen.
