What is it with MSM today? Who CARES about some |
|
wedding across the Atlantic?
Honestly, this coverage is completely unwarranted and useless. There are real news stories - Japan, Libya, Yemen, the Texas fires, the Texas storms, the Texas tornadoes, massive flooding throughout the midwest, surprising growth in consumer confidence, Wikileaks on Gitmo, and more.
Who actually gives a shit about some royal wedding in merry olde england? Enough already.

6. MSM wouldn't want dumbed down America to think about any important issues |
|
in this country. MSM takes every opportunity to build smoke screens around any important issues affecting this country. About every time I've turned on the TV they been blabbering about this damn wedding.

4. The MSM wore Palin out with the public (& Trump isnt working with viewers) |
|
They desperately needed a new bright shiny object to distract the people from the failure of government and corporations to adequately address the economic issues facing the country.

Then again, they may dig up someone completely different and new. A spring surprise, as it were.

7. Just one more argument for abolishing the monarchy. |
|
And more evidence that the U.S. did well to eschew it.

That is why it is televised. We are invited to watch in our living rooms so I'm setting the DVR to watch after I get up.
I'm excited about it as I love weddings and one on this scale hasn't happened for 30 years.

11. Just another reality show with lower production costs. |
|
And the networks don't have to worry about viewer drop-off.

13. The guy on Ratigan right now (A brit who is not falling for it) |
|
is great to listen to.
As far as Americans, our system is in some ways the British system with a House of Lords (The Senate), a House of Commons, (Parliament) and an elected King (the President)
At this pont it is a sick obsession by six percent of the people who actually care and the media peddling this.
