Why the Right Doesn't Like Education?
From a researcher in Canada:

"For over a century, social scientists have debated how
educational attainment impacts religious belief. In this
paper, I use Canadian compulsory schooling laws to identify
the relationship between completed schooling and later
religiosity. I find that higher levels of education lead to
lower levels of religious participation later in life. An
additional year of education leads to a 4-percentage-point
decline in the likelihood that an individual identifies with
any religious tradition; the estimates suggest that
increases in schooling can explain most of the large rise in
non-affiliation in Canada in recent decades."

Schooling Laws

2. Educated people only vote GOP if they have no soul and a potential financial gain.
Uneducated people vote GOP if the candidate talks about God and guns.

7. Yes, educated critical thinkers are troublemakers to the elite
At work , or city council meetings I've seen the look of unbridled scorn by spin artists...that is feckless VP's or greedy developers, who try to blow sunshine up our arses...whenever myself or anybody else challenge or ask for clarification of their spiel. That look is the same and is unmistakable: "Get that bastard out of here, or shut him up!"

8. Uneducated people often have to work 3 jobs, and remain
afraid of losing said jobs, so they are easily controlled and kept down.

9. and that, my friend, is why we have to support the teachers in all those red states.
What florida is doing to their schools is a threat to the nation. That is why Teach For America is a threat to the nation. That is why vouchers are a threat to the nation. (take tax money to teach people to do what God tells them...(via the church, of course)

After the next election we need some sort of national referendum to make sure those red states start educating their youth.

11. I tend to believe that they hate education for one simple reason. If people were
able to read, write and do mathematics with any proficiency, Republicans would lose almost every election and the Democratic party would be forced to move left.
