Shoji Ando, a 67-year-old farmer from Chiba Prefecture, who brought his cow, joins a protest in front of the Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) headquarters in Tokyo on Tuesday. More than 200 farmers affected by radiation spewing from the tsunami crippled Daiichi nuclear power plant staged the demonstration to demand that TEPCO pay them adequate compensation for loss of income caused by having to leave their farms, or for having produced withdrawn from the market due to contamination fears. 6. Poor man, and all those in similar situations. |

Nuclear energy simply is not safe. All it takes is one accident like this and countless lives are ruined, unlivable badlands created, cancer and birth defect rates spike. This is the third major incident in my lifetime and I am not that old.
It's poison. It's got to go.

7. Good Luck getting that cow money. |

I kinda think TEPCO is going to spend every last dime it has and then some just to deal with the plant itself. Then there's the workers and their future health issues to consider. They'll be bankrupt before you know it.
