A genie might have escaped a bottle recently. If true, I see it as a good thing.
The genie is reporting the news about the anger voters are showing toward repubicans in town hall meetings. As I watch the nooz from various sources, I see stories of more and more comgresspersons getting their asses handed to them by their constituents.

Unlike the teabagger staged anger last year, this seems to be genuine and grass roots.

Sadly, however, we the people seem to lack a fierce advocate with any real power in Washington.

1. The little I've seen shows they're not just disapproving, but quite angry
Paul Ryan's constituents aren't holding back and it makes him nervous and sound ridiculous when he tries to defend his crap.

It's a totally other world out here in the country. He seems genuinely shocked to find that out.

7. Politics in Wisconsin have activated people's emotions
I suspect this contributes to the readiness of people who are confronting Ryan about his medicare killing budget.

One of the things Ryan doesn't know how to handle is the combination of informed and unhappy people.

At one point he told a knowledgeable constituent that 'if you want to have your own meeting get a room' at another he told people that they needed to quit heckling him...both of which just makes people want to heckle all the more.

Ryan was set up by the GOP to be groomed into a presidential candidate. A lot of people up here don't want to see his political career will survive that long.

2. Find out where your Republican Congresscritter is giving a town hall . . .
Stand up, ask a pointed question, about how the GOP budget is unfair and hurts average peopls. Don't sit down till he gives you a real answer.

Bring several like minded friends. Don't sit together. Mix in with the audience. That way the 1st question will be about the budget, and the second, and the third . . .!

Get right up in their faces! Its FUN!

6. Last sentence there says it all...
None of this will mean anything if we don't have fierce advocates in Washington, and won't mean or amount to anything if we don't have a political party and elected reps willing to capitalize on it, hammer it home, and politicize it just like the GOP would and did. Except we wouldn't need to lie to do it.

Of course we don't have those advocates and it won't be capitalized on and it won't amount to anything.

11. Yup...
just more political rhetorical puffery.

Always remember, Obama is campaigning now. He's great with the fiery speeches on the election trail.

13. Oh yeah. Go to www.pbpost.com and you will see him listening
to the remarks. He is the definition of deer in the headlights. You can tell he is shocked by the responses. It's great stuff. He is the one who beat Ron Klein. Loved Ron..

12. It's a beautiful thing!
This isn't some astroturf faux outrage; this is real people, real voters who are genuinely pissed off. Finally at least a few on the right are realizing they were sold an even bigger bill of goods than the left was.
