Brutal Attack On Food Deliveryman Caught On Tape In Morningside Heights

NEW YORK (CBS 2) — A shocking, ambush-style attack on a food deliveryman was caught on tape in Morningside Heights. Police are hunting for the teen suspects, Jay Dow reports.

The set-up was simple: police say three teenage boys phoned in a Chinese food order on Friday afternoon.

They went up to the sixth floor of the building at 40 Morningside Avenue, hid in a stairwell next to the elevator, and waited for the deliveryman.

As soon as the deliveryman came out of the elevator, the lurking teens attacked. The deliveryman was knocked to the ground as the kids punched and kicked him repeatedly.

Well there was that beating last year but that senior citizen clearly started it but the cops wouldn't believe him because they're just picking on this sweet boy who would never harm a flea.

And there was that cat but he swore it was on fire when he found it and he mistook a can of gasoline for water and well you can see how that might look bad to someone who just didn't understand.
