EXCLUSIVE: Dad’s Immigration File Offers More Evidence Of Obama’s Birthplace
By Heather Smathers – Independent Staff Writer

– Documents obtained from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service through a Freedom of Information Act request offer evidence that President Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

A memo dated Aug. 31, 1961 from William Wood of Immigration and Naturalization Services indicates that Barack Obama, Sr., was attending the University of Hawaii on a student visa and that a son, Barack Obama, II, was born in Honolulu on Aug, 8, 1961.

The memo refers to Obama Sr.’s plans to attend the University of Hawaii for one more year to obtain his bachelor’s degree in economics, and that his spouse, a United States citizen, plans to work at the university.

“They have one child born Honolulu on 8/4/1961 – Barack Obama II, child living with mother (she lives with her parents & subject resides at 1482 Alisteastre St.),” the memo states.
Documents also show that Obama, Sr. entered the country in 1959, and received several extensions to his visa prior to being denied in July, 1964.

3. They were always going to be hard on the first black president.

This is a racist country, mostly members of the Republican party which has been playing dirty for two decades and is downright crooked.

Someday we'll look back and say about this birther thing, (and forgetting how fucking stupid the teabaggers were), and say, "That was the best they could come up with?"

4. I hope I will be around to say that. I'm going to be 59 years old
in a few months and am so disgusted over this.

6. This is the fodder that birthers use to talk about his parents not being married
I don't care. This has nothing to do with his eligibility for the presidency. But they'll use this to say Obama lied in his book about how his parents split up when he was two years old. The talk show blather has been on this for some time now. How they never lived together nor were they ever married and on and on.

My take on this gossip is that children are told all sorts of family legends and believe them. So it's just not a big deal if Obama was told that his parents were together for a few years. It should be left alone but it won't. It's not relevant to his eligibility for the office. But the right wing will try to use this to try to undercut Obama's credibility. Be prepared.
