It drives a nice big wedge issue in the GOP further into their skulls - the GOP leadership must now either confront or mollify the large number of remaining batshit insane birthers, and the exploding heads will be fun to watch.

This move was not decided last night - you can bet there were many many meetings, conferences and debates in the WH about this, and you can be sure all the political factors/tradeoffs/costs/benefits were considered before the decision was finalized.

2. They will say it is Photoshopped.
Though idiot birthers wouldn't know Photoshop if it jumped out and said Boo!

3. OK, I've given it some thought and...
I think this could be correct.

It would be a pretty good strategy, wouldn't it...

Reasonable people...Republicans included...would have to admit that the issue is now closed. So the Republicans have to either shit or get off the pot with the Teabaggers.

Either the bc is good or it's not. If they say it is, they lose the Baggers. If they want to attract the Baggers, they might have to backtrack on reason and sanity.

I really hope the Baggers decide to run their own candidate next year... I think the Republicans would totally freak out over that.

4. If this results in a RW 3rd party candidacy, I'd say Mission Accomplished.
...and Good Show :applause:
