God almighty Jesus in a hat! Free Republic responses to the birth certificate:
Immediate issues with this—he’s still not eligible as his father was not a US citizen at any time. Father’s race is also African—that is not a race. It’s like referring to anybody born in on any of the Americas, North, Middle, or South as Americans. Does not give any real information.

--

I still say the biggest problem here isn’t going to be Zero’s place of birth, but the fact he more than likely renounced his citizenship to become a citizen of Kenya which would also disqualify him. As if he’s qualified in any way anyhow!

--

Yeah, I know that he changed his name—likely more than once. What we need are the remaining documents that he has sealed, though this one, real or forged, is sufficient to disqualify him if the idiots in charge had the guts to do their constitutional duties.

--

ACCORDING TO THIS, THAT WAS NOT THE NAME OF THAT HOSPITAL ...HE'S STILL LIEING ... DON'T LET THIS GET WIPED

--

the font of the “A” on line 13 appears different
from the “A” in the date on line 20.

--

This official certificate of live birth clearly states that his father is a foreign national. This means Obama is ineligible to be president because both of his parents weren't citizens of the United States at the time of his birth. As a minor, his mother couldn't pass on her citizenship.

--

Line 13 was typed but it looks like line 20 was a stamp.

--

At the bottom it says, “Birthplace Kenya,” registered Honolulu per Grandmother.”

Also, strange but “Place of Birth” says Honolulu and there’s a “1” right after slightly below the line, wonder what that means?

--

Ok, so his dad was born in Kenya....
Was he still a citizen of Kenya or by that time was he an American Citizen.

That is the million dollar question that no one will ask today at the presser because it goes to the "naturalized" question...

5. I almost feel sorry for these people. Can you imagine the other areas of their life ruled by
this way of thinking. I would think raving paranoia dictates every little detail of their pitiful lives. Quite sad when you think about it.

24. One of my favorites is about Ann's age at time of birth:
To: therightliveswithus
There is a little fuzzy math here!!!!

If stanley Ann Dunham was born on November 29, 1942 (as every article I have EVER read says) she would not have turned 18 until november of that year. Obama was born in August. She was 17 at the time not 18. This BC is another sham!!!

Yeah, the math is fuzzy alright -your math. Lets see, 61-42 = 19, dipsheet! Ann would turn 19 in November 1961, making her 18 at the time of her son's birth.

DERP!

13. I wonder if they realize...
that to many Republicans this issue is now resolved. In fact, to a lot of them it was resolved even before this.

So now their own political party is involved in one of the biggest Presidential scams in history?

19. What Great Constitutional Minds
I particularly love the, "He's not a citizen because his father wasn't a citizen." Read your Constitution, dipshits. Aren't they the ones constantly harping about what's in the Constitution, and weren't their leaders the ones who insisted on wasting a day reading it during a session of Congress? Pick it up and read it sometime. You'll be shocked at how wrong your preconceived notions are.

If EITHER PARENT is a United States citizen, the child is a citizen. It doesn't have to be BOTH, dumbasses. And that's true no matter WHERE you're born. If a United States citizen went to Mars and had an affair with an alien, and then gave birth to a half-alien baby on the moon, that half-alien baby is STILL a United States citizen.

A little education goes a long way. But then again, I guess if people had educations and knew how to think, FR wouldn't exist.

20. He Changed His Name Several Times??? This Passes For Common Knowledge Over There?
That one doesn't even pass for COMMON SENSE. Yes, I'm sure that a guy who changed his name "several times" in order to become President CHOSE to call himself Barack Hussein Obama. Because it just sounds so Presidential, right?

How about this one, guys? If you KNOW that he's changed his name, probably several times..................SHOW ME THE "CHANGE OF NAME" PAPERWORK HE HAD TO HAVE FILED IN ORDER TO DO IT. Payback's a bitch, ain't she?

25. Oh, Even Better--A Minor Can't Pass On Citizenship
Show me where it says THAT in the Constitution.

So, when I was watching "16 And Pregnant" last night, does that mean that every baby born on that show to parents under the age of 18 has NO CITIZENSHIP WHATSOEVER? Because we all know that a minor can't pass citizenship to his/her baby, and if BOTH parents are minors, that MUST mean that the baby is not a citizen of ANY country. Right? Right? So, continuing down that line of "thinking," any child born to parents who are minors MUST have to apply for citizenship in order to be an American citizen, right?

26. The A in line 13 IS different than line 20 because one was done by a typewriter and one was done by
a stamp. One was typed by whomever typed this and the other was stamped by the dept of Vital Records. My birth certificate is the same way here in Arizona.

These people must have IQs in the single digits.

28. What Are These Nitwits Looking At?
The next-to-last comment makes two assertions. First, that at the bottom, there's some notation about "Birthplace Kenya, registered Honolulu per Grandmother." I'm looking at the birth certificate that was posted on Yahoo News, and there's no such notation anywhere. Second, the same poster claims that under "Place of Birth," it says Honolulu but there's a 1 right after it slightly below the line. Again, I'm looking at the document and I don't see anything that could even be MISTAKEN for a 1 after Honolulu. There's simply NOTHING there.

And what's with the half-wit who commented on the "A" being different? Doesn't he recognize the difference between a typewriter, which would be used by the hospital to type up the document, and a rubber stamp, which would be used by a clerk in order to time/date stamp a legal document?

The more they try to keep this shit alive, the dumber they look. So I say, "Keep it up!!!" You're only increasing the margin by which Obama will destroy whichever drooling, slack-jawed sociopath you choose to give your nomination to in 2012.

30. To the dumbass freeper who thinks Obama is no eligible because his dad was Kenyan....
http://community.myvoa.com/_The-Seventh-US-President-with-a-Foreign-Born-Parent/blog/137360/45137.html

With Barack Obama's election, immigrant parents from all over the world can now honestly tell their American-born children that they, too, can dream of one day becoming president. It's a cultural as much as as a racial barrier that's fallen: As the son of a Kenyan man, Barack Obama will be the first U.S. president with a parent born outside the British Isles or Canada.

Only six other U.S. presidents had a foreign-born parent. Mr. Obama will be the first in nearly ninety years, since President Herbert Hoover was inaugurated in 1929.

Andrew Jackson (1829-1837) is the only president born of two immigrants, both Irish. Presidents with one immigrant parent are Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809), whose mother was born in England, James Buchanan (1857-1861) and Chester Arthur (1881-1885), both of whom had Irish fathers, and Woodrow Wilson (1913-1921) and Herbert Hoover (1929-1933), whose mothers were born respectively in England and Canada.

32. It's all good. Just think of it this way:
They're racist and the horror they feel about that poor, young white girl being violated by an African is the worst possible thing they can imagine, and the proof of that unholy union is sitting in the WH. But they can't say those things, publicly, so they're stewing in their hatred.

They're torturing themselves, every minute of every day. The stress of "knowing" something so anathema to everything they believe to be right and true, but not being able to shout it from the rooftops has got to be doing some serious damage. As much as it may seem that they do, nobody thrives on hatred. It's eating at them from the inside.

What most insidious are the Republic politicians using this issue to gain and increase their power. They don't believe any of this BS for a second, but they'll use it as long as it provides an advantage.
