Because that date just means that it was CERTIFIED (as being a true and correct copy of a legal document on file) by the clerk on that date, not that it was PRODUCED on that date.

He got a copy. He released it.

The first BC released was a printout and was certified to accurately reflect the information in the original document.

The image I saw today was of the original document, replete with the right signatures and all.

Many detractors and defenders were proven incorrect.

Most of us aren't afraid of parading authentic documents to prove the other side is looney. Keep in mind there are millions in between who haven't seen these documents at all and are only listening to the teabaggers. So it helps if we all can say we have seen the document and it's valid.
