1. I'm going armed...with facts!!!
It turns out our new Representative, Kevin Yoder (R-3rd) lied about his stance on Medicare. In November 2010, he said this about Medicare:

I can't support legislation rammed through Congress that will raise our taxes, increase insurance premiums, and promise to make drastic cuts in Medicare. Americans deserve better than this law. I will work to repeal and defund this bad legislation that will drive up costs, increase the deficit, grow bureaucracy and lower the standards of health care that Americans expect. I will work to build true health care reform that focuses on free market competition, patient choice and high quality of care.

But he voted for Ryan's budget, which among other considerations, defunds Medicare:

A complete reversal in just five months! A lie to garner votes!

I say if, and when, Yoder has a townhall, we confront him with this! :grr:

2. I thought Yoder was an Amish name?
Do the Amish run for office in government? I thought they stayed out of that part and just spoke out against war?

3. Get this, a friend of mine tried to attend a meeting being held by Mary "Bono" Mack at the Palm
Desert campus of UC Riverside yesterday, when asked why he could not "just sit in" he was told it was only

for (wealthy) local developers, growers and "business" leaders. They wouldn't even let this person sit in on

the meeting, so they really don't want to hear all of us.

After the meeting was over, he found out that Bono Mack discussed government regulations and spending with

these privileged, 40 local developers, growers and business leaders (mostly wealthy Republicans). The average

rabble, including the media, was not even allowed inside to listen to the discussion. At least the first

half for the media, then they were allowed in, but no "We the People" types were allowed to monitor the

meeting. Wonder what they talked about in private other than what they allowed the media to hear?

Pubes are just too sneaky.

The hour-long round table was held at the Heckmann International Center for Entrepreneurial Management at

the Desert campus of UC Riverside.

Attendees said the discussion touched on a wide range of topics, from the federal budget to the costs of

local permits, but like a Koch meeting, the rest was hush, hush.

As I said, even Local reporters were only allowed to attend the last part of the discussion. Why? What was

being said in that meeting, that for the first part, even reporters were locked out? What didn't Bono Mack

and the Wealthy Republicans not want us to know they discussed? I guess when you're meeting with wealthy

Republican business men, you don't want all of the beans spilled. You know, like a Koch brothers meeting

where you can attend, but by invitation only, no commoners allowed.

This meeting, was part of Bono Mack’s role as chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing and

Trade. Just another name for rich local Republican business people.

The Palm Springs Republican congresswoman said the committee would continue "hearings" on many of the issues

raised, including how to increase manufacturing in America. Bono Mack then went on to say:

“We are over regulated, over taxed and over litigated,” Bono Mack apparently lied to the group.

Bono Mack thinks "we are over regulated", "over taxed"..........lol.........she doesn't think that more

regulations would have prevented the 2008 financial melt down. She wants more deregulation so that those who

almost destroyed our economy while enriching themselves, get another chance to do the job right.

Just another fake, phony and fraud, who even though remarried and her last name is Mack, still

uses "Bono"........I wonder why that is? She's really a piece of work, lives in a 3 million dollar estate

down here in Palm Springs, lives the good life, spouts the Republican talking points, and just keeps getting

elected, though she came close to losing her last election. Maybe if she dropped the "Bono", which is not

her maiden name, she wouldn't get as much attention and press, after all, if I were Mr. Mack, I'd be

wondering why she's keeping the last name of her (famous) dead husband even though she doesn't have to. My

guess is, Mr. Mack agreed to let her keep the famous name as her middle name, because it helps her to stand

out down here and still helps to link her to Sonny Bono in the eyes of the people giving her more name power

than if she were just, Mary Mack.....pretty dull huh?

14. Hell yeah, I can't stand the little fraud Bono Mack, she's hanging on by the skin of her teeth here
in the desert, and hopefully we can run her out of town on a rail next time she's up for election. Unless of course they put in those Diebold machines that have no paper trail.

4. My respresentative doesn't hold Town Hall meetings
and he has claimed in the past to only represent people who voted for him. So there you go.

13. Wow, sounds like another Scott Walker or Rick Scott you've got there.
Sorry you don't have any representation really, so I guess you shouldn't be taxed, after all, there is no taxation without representation. What a novel idea, you only represent people who voted for you? Now if only President Obama would take on that way of being, we'd be alright.

15. We haven't had any representation since 1972
when Don Young was first elected. And Eric Holder has shut down all the ethics investigations against him, as well as overturning every conviction of Alaska's "Corrupt Bastards Club." Obama's DOJ is doing Alaska no favors.
