I for one wish to ask the press at large, is bullshit all you folks are interested in?
The economy, a meltdown in Japan, gas prices over $4 a gallon but oil is in excess supply and priced relatively low, wars everywhere in the Middle East, a shake up at the White House, and the fucking birth certificate of an ELECTED PRRESIDENT is all you have to spew about?

Fools, all of you.

1. The media, in general, is not interested in bringing you factual, pertinent news.
They are trying to capture the biggest share of the audience, so they have to sensationalize crap to entice viewers. It's all about the money, not the truth.

2. They are not about news, they are about ratings. So yes, bullshit is all they
are interested in -- whatever brings in the viewers/advertising dollars. Profit rules.

4. Don't forget the wedding.
:banghead: The answer is yes until something dumber comes along to distract the masses. Even sadder is the masses don't see anything wrong with the coverage at all or the birther conspiracy would of died a fast death long ago.

6. I'm probably just being sentimental but,
i remember a time when I would come home and watch the national nightly news on the big three networks and actually take it seriously. The news has become weightless, vacuous. Devoid of integrity. It no longer takes itself seriously. Ratings are everything.

8. The search for truth has been replaced with the search for equivalence.
Truth implies there's a right and wrong side to the argument. Equivalence means that they can maintain a neutrality, even if neither side is happy, at least they aren't taking political sides that will cause 1/2 the population to condemn them.
