He layed into the media for showing a split screen of the microphones waiting for Obama to address the Press with "that real estate mogul that is not running for President", saying it was surreal.

He laughed in disbelief at the polls showing that the majority of Republicans don't believe that Obama was born in the United States.

And he ended the segment by saying that this will not end - that next they will want his school records, this and that - and that it belongs in Crazyland, and that's where he is going to leave it from now on.


Hopefully there will be a video up soon. He nailed it.

he personifies the kind of old school Republican you can actually deal with.

Believe it or not there was a time when Republicans actually cared about this country, and while they and I didn't agree on everything at least I know they had good intentions.

I'll never forget the sight of Smith standing in New Orleans yelling at the morons in the Fox studio who were trying to politicize the Katrina issue. Poor dude is standing there among the flood victims trying to relay the horror he was experiencing while the idiots in the studio wanted to talk about Mary Landrieu or Bobby Jindal.


I thought they would can him after that one.
