LOL Sounds Like They Are About To Riot!! |
|
WOW. Ha ha. Right wing radio hosts having trouble with their fans. Damn I love it. The radio heads are trying to get away from birther issue because they know it's toxic and their callers are getting mad and angry that they are doing so.
I haven't heard this much whining and crying in a looong time.
There's some really angry people out there right now. Who the hell knows what they might do.
They ask the man to produce his birth certificate, he does, and for that they get hopping mad. So mad they could...
Things are going to get uglier.

3. Limbaugh was getting trouble because he was trying to play it |
|
off. But Hannity, lol, Hannity, is having big trouble quieting his fans down because they want to keep pursuing the issue. Hannity has been cracking me up because lately he's been in the same campaign mode that he was in for 2008, you know, "Reverend Wright, Bill Ayres, Socialist" and he's crying that all this does is make Obama look more mainstream when people should be looking at Reverend Wright, Bill Ayres, Socialism, blah blah.
I must say, I am indeed enjoying the schadenfreud. That's the only reason I listen to 'em at times like these.
Releasing the birth certificate only whetted their appetites. They are hungry for more.

2. Really? What's going on? |
|
Details! The hate radio hosts are trying to back away from birtherism and not being allowed to by their whiny RACIST audience? Hilarious! Whose shows are you listening to (so I can gloat - 'cause I just can't listen to that stuff)? What is this - a big case of Sore Losermen?
I LOVE the smell of republi-CONS and teaRACISTS self-immolating in the morning!

5. Oh, this is good news for Republicans |
|
Everything is good news for Republicans. The fractiousness over the birther nontroversy proves that Democrats are in disarray, playing catch-up, and the Republicans are once again setting the agenda.
IF and I emphasize IF this was Obama's attempt to put this non-issue behind us, it won't work. I don't know what would work, but this nine day wonder of a non-story is well into its 30th month of hobgoblining the little minds. On the other hand, if this was intended to drop this flaming turdsack right smack dab in the middle of the Republican camp and keep them stomping away at it for the next several months, mission accomplished.
If this goes away from popular media chatter in the next 72 hours, we'll know that the Word has been issued to Let the Matter Die. But if the die-hard obsessives keep it going well into summer and beyond, we'll know that the djinn has slipped the surly bonds of the lamp, and now threatens to turn on its hapless summoners. Justice of a poetic bent, indeed.

10. Seems to me that this hurts the Republicans. |
|
The mainstream Republican establishment wants to shed this nonsense just like they want to shed Trump. This stirs up the craziest part of their base and pushes them even more towards Trump.
They either embrace this nonsense, alienating independents and the remaining sane Republicans, or they reject it and alienate the crazies.

21. Satire is hard in this environment |
|
Events outpace every effort at lampoon. The "good news for Republicans" meme is a popular media staple. Even when the Republicans got clobbered at the polls in 2006 and 2008, there were certain media outlets painting it as "good news for the Republicans." Some folks (notably Atrios/Eschaton) wondered if anything could ever be considered bad news for Republicans. The other standard media formula is that "Democrats are in disarray."
So, on a day when Republicans are going at each other with a frenzied will over whether to go all in on the birfer craziness or let it drop, I posited that someone somewhere would characterize this as good news for Republicans. And on the same day when Democrats are united as one in laughing our butts off at Republican discomfiture, someone (probably at Fox) will assert that Democrats are in disarray.

28. I'm leaning more toward the "flaming sack" analogy. |
|
What passes for reason among the GOP will think the bomb has been defused, when the faithful will remind them, once again, its not about the bomb, its about the bomber. That the "birth certificate issue" was but one item in a vast cornucopia of Obama's presidential illegitimacy.
This issue will not die for the die-hards; they are terriers, and this is their chew toy.

7. What's making them angry is that the hosts keep telling them |
|
that just because you think the birth certificate is fake doesn't mean he's not the president. He must be impeached to be removed and that's what they are getting angry about. They don't see the need for impeachment. Just declare that he's ineligible and install another president. LOL
They don't like that he's got to be impeached to be removed. (Ha ha I hear yelling going on right now as I right this) Hannity wants it both ways, i.e. that it's not wrong to ask about the birth certificate, but they shouldn't focus on that. LOL They're not buying it.

14. And when he's impeached the 'baggers will have President Biden to bitch about. Its a lose/lose for |
|
them. But they are so shortsighted their only real goal is to remove the Black man from the Oval Office.
The Tea Party is racist. From the leaders like Mark Williams down to every last man or woman who claims allegiance with them. If it wasn't exclusively racist when it started it sure as hell is now.

Not on this issue anyway. They gotta find another one or focus on voting him out. That's what the radio heads are telling them.

Reid threatens to make the Senate vote on the Ryan bill. They have to recruit police officers to protect them at town hall meetings. Then today, this birth certificate thing. It could be raining vaginas and they would get hit in the head with a penis... :-)

16. Ah, but you don't see the irony. They don't like the impeachment |
|
requirement because they know that will never happen. They are saying things like, "do what we have to" and Hannity's voice gets shaky and he say's what do you mean "do waht we have to" the only way is impeachment. They don't like it. They know there's no chance in hell an impeachment is gonna happen. They scream that at Hannity - "they're not going to do it". LOL

15. Yep, just talking to a friend on Facebook and this ominous tidbit came out |
|
"according to a friend who works at the r and l, a marine walked into the main office wanting to inform the paper the bc was fake. he gave all these items he took issue with, acted sad when no one backed him up and walked out saying he would not stand for this."
The r and l is the Statesville Record and Landmark in North Carolina.
And gave me the heebie-jeebies instantly.

they nurtured this, they fed it and watched it flower. Now they think they can shut it all off. Had that tiger by the tail, thought they could control it. Now they are seeing the results of feeding the racial fire. Its biting them in the ass....I sure as hell don't want it to bite our ass (as a country)

The media has massive amount of egg on their faces today. Why did this go on, nay, encouraged, instead of reported on and dismissed. They have been shown not as a venue that informs, but one that just entertain.
Or worse, designed to deceive/misinform
