Superman to renounce U.S. citizenship at the UN
Source: The Stranger

According to Comics Alliance, Superman renounces his U.S. citizenship in a short story in today's Action Comics #900.

... If the right-wing blogs get a hold of this one, there's gonna be hell to pay, especially when somebody realizes that David Goyer, who wrote the story, is also the screenwriter of the upcoming Superman movie directed by Zach Snyder and starring a British person as Superman. So they're neutering America's greatest superhero and turning him into a thug for the United Nations? This could make the Captain America mess look tame in comparison.

1. Ok seriously I really hate when they release stuff like this
before the comic even comes out. It ruins the surprise, this seems to have started with the Death of Captain America, then the Death of Batman, the Johnny Storm, now this. I want plot twists to remain TWISTS!!

5. They'd be really pissed off if they realized
that the current Captain America is a former Russian agent (against his will) and was just on trial for treason.

6. Yet another reason why I quit sending these guys 3 and 4 bucks a pop for their colored paper.
Too much political correctness and not enough entertainment, it's just not worth it anymore.
