Lately the price of gasoline projections - from 5 to 10 bucks a gallon are a replay of what happened to Carter and crushed his presidency (helped along by the Iran/Contra thingy.....) I remember the 'Embargo' - it was terrifying and people DID suffer and Carter got blamed....
