They claim that DU is purging liberals, but I figure it had more to do with behavior than viewpoint. If you are so caustic that anyone with a differing opinion is an enemy who must be destroyed, you will not contribute much to a discussion board community.

9. I just read the comments

and some of them were really disgusting. Whining from people who have their panties in a twist because they were offended by or removed from DU -- "I'm not giving to your fund drive because you're a bunch of fascist DLC apologists who hurt my feelings!" Folks, it's a fund drive for a worthy cause. Give, or don't. Jeebers.

I was inspired by the nastiness to kick in a few more bucks.
