Good ?-How Many Times Did Reporters Ask GWB "9/11 Truth" Questions In WH Briefings?
Stupid, factless stories make it into the news churn all the time. How often do they make it into interviews with the President of the United States? Here's another way of thinking about it. In the seven years and four months of George W. Bush's presidency after 9/11, how many times did reporters ask "9/11 Truth" questions in White House briefings? How many times did they ask it of the president himself? I can't recall any times (although I welcome any corrections from readers.) But Obama has been asked multiple times about the birth certificate.

1. And how many times was Dimson asked about
his whereabouts when he was in the Air National Guard? Those papers were all scrubbed so they wouldn't be seen. Damn double standard!!!

2. Democratic politicians did not embrace the truther nuts.

That's the biggest difference.

It was always a small insignificant fringe group that believed these things.

If prominent Democrats so irresponsibly embraced conspiracy theories, to the same degree that Republicans embraced the birthers, I don't doubt it would have dominated the news cycle, to the Democrats' peril I might add.

5. Criticism of Dimson was forbidden (read: unpatriotic)
I guess the birthers never heard of double standards.

7. One reason you knew the birth certificate stuff was crap
The media gave it all kinds of exposure.

9/11, on the other hand, can never be allowed to be examined in the light of day.
