When the main menu comes up, just say CHEAP GAS. The computer voice will ask you what city and state and then will tell you the price of gas at the cheapest gas stations in that area. Very handy number to have stored in your cell phone when travelling.

1. Sell the SUV and buy a motorcycle.

Or a scooter.

If we normalize mpg, I pay the equivalent of $1.20 a gallon when compared to a car that gets 15 mpg.

2. Thanks for posting

Not everyone has the option to sell their vehicle & ride around on a scooter as suggested above. Sometimes a truck is part of what is necessary, sometimes a mini-van and Yes, sometimes an SUV. I will not be critical of the choices of others. They have made their decisions, how they pay for those is of course their problem.

3. I live out on a hobby farm. A 4 wd pickup is a necessity. I would have

an awful hard time pulling a loaded trailer with a motor scooter. But even motor scooters need gas. So hopefully the 1-800-BING-411 will help motor scooter drivers find cheaper gas too.

We all know that there isn't much we can do about gas prices, so even a little help should be appreciated by all.

6. I did go out and buy a Hybrid V8 pickup. I can

honestly say though that I don't see it sipping gas, ha.

4. Not only can you get the price of the cheapest gas, you can

also get your horoscope, sport scores, news, stock quotes, directions, road conditions, weather anywhere in the country, etc. etc.

I drive a truck for a living and the weather feature alone has helped me tremendously during the winter months on how I would route my trips around the Great Lakes region.
