So General David Petraeus may be the next Director of the CIA-bringing his COIN expertise
as well as a likely policy of further outsourcing of "intelligence" tasks to no-bid "private intelligence professionals".

This is a very bad signal to many of US that pay attention to such things (from open sources).

Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern wrote an article that was posted on Robert Parry's Consortium News website today expressing a professional criticism of the possiblity of David Petraeus becoming DCIA.

Below is a link to Source Watch's profile of General Petraeus for some open sourced background about the possible replacement of former President Clinton's former Chief of Staff Leon Panetta as DCIA.

I thank VIPS, Bradley Manning, Julian Assange, Valerie Plame Wilson, Coleen Rowley, Sibel Edmonds and all other whistle blowers and truth tellers that have been caught-up, deliberately exposed, targeted, and, in some instances, liquidated in the expanding radical politicization of this corporate fascist dominated nation where thought control has replaced reality and fanatic conformity to authority is "the law".

What are your thoughts on this latest proposed leadership change in the US intelligence community?

2. There is the "outsourcing" issue to consider-seems like a done deal to me, but how is it "working"?

3. Ray's point that this appointment makes CIA more enmeshed
in the Pentagon's agenda is well taken.
