Maybe I'm oversensitive, or maybe I don't watch enough TV, but
all the people I saw being interviewed about the tornadoes yesterday were white. If you believe the network coverage, hurricanes only affect blacks, tornadoes only hit whites.

Being from the south and knowing that area hardiest hit it is by proportion white. That being said, on CNN today I saw Blacks being interviewed as well as Black leaders like mayors and police offices holding news conferences. As to the Hurricane comment you have to understand that at the time of Katrina New Orleans was 70% black in the area that was hardiest hit.
